Sure, you may recognize our reusable handles on the six-pack 12-oz regular or the quad-pack 16-oz craft beer found in grocery stores, dock sales, and even in build-your-own beer coolers. You’ve probably found it easy to simply remove from the cans as it is to pop one of our handles on an empty can when you pack up from a picnic.

With the increasing prominence of online shopping, consumers have begun to realize something that businesses have known for a long time: a lot of packaging is wasted.

Today, governments, businesses and consumers look for ways to optimise waste management. Among different solutions, the waste hierarchy concept has become an essential tool to determine priorities for action to reduce and manage waste sustainably. Yet, this concept remains unknown to many.

PakTech assists with launching The U.S. Plastics Pact's (“U.S. Pact”) “Roadmap to 2025,” an aggressive national strategy illustrating how the U.S. Pact, PakTech and fellow signatories, known as Activators, will achieve each of the U.S. Pact’s four 2025 targets through specific actions, responsibilities, and interim timeframes to realize a circular economy for plastics in the United States by 2025.

The world is growing at a tremendous pace, and with it, there is an ascent in the demand levels for food packaging. With the shortage of resources becoming an increasing reality, employing and incorporating sustainable and ingenious techniques has become the primary objective of PakTech.

We at PakTech are proud of our recycling program. Alongside with our 100% recycled plastic packaging solutions, the recycling program supports our commitment to sustainability. These initiatives have helped us repurpose the equivalent of over half a billion (644,203,483 to be exact) discarded milk jugs, keeping roughly 83 million pounds of plastic out of the waste stream. This is plastic that wasn’t sent to a landfill (or the ocean), but was instead repurposed, often multiple times!
